What is a money market fund?

A Money Market fund (MMF) is a mutual fund that invests in ultra short-term high quality securities seeking to provide liquidity, stability of capital and competitive yields. MMFs seek to maintain a stable net asset value (NAV) of $1 per share and can serve as a useful cash management and liquidity solution for your credit union.
